A Student Satisfactory Survey (SSS) was regularly conducted at M. P. Sinha Science College, Muzaffarpur under the guidance of IQAC. The information regarding the college, teaching-learning methods, Infrastructure, etc. is enquired from the students on the basis of a five-point scale ranking method. Data collected annually from students are compiled, assessed, and then summarized below and also presented through a pictorial representation. This will help the authorities to decide the required initiatives to be taken for the betterment of the academic environment of the college. This will help to improve the quality of lectures, ICT facilities, eco-friendly campus environment, curricular and extracurricular activities, and so on.

After analyzing the data provided by the students, it is observed that the majority of students are satisfied with the faculty. They appreciate the delivery of lectures by the teachers utilizing the ICT tools and demonstrating the concepts on the basis of examples and applications. Teachers use student-centric methods e.g. experimental learning, participative learning, and problem-based learning to enhance the teaching-learning experiences of students.

Teachers encourage students to express and clarify their doubts not only inside and outside of the class. Students appreciate the teacher’s attitude towards teaching and unbiasedness regarding assessments. The majority of the students indicate that they are satisfied with the syllabus covered and the teaching-learning methods of the teachers.

The students appreciated the eco-friendly nature of the college, the greenery, and its surrounding, which made them feel close to nature.

Faculty members are friendly and available to the students as per their needs in the college.  The majority of the students appreciate the orientation/induction programs conducted for newly admitted students by the college. Students express satisfaction regarding the mentorship system, grievance-redressal system, and counseling of students. Apart from these, they were also satisfied with the infrastructure facilities of the college and teaching rooms equipped with updated ICT facilities.
